Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Yuriorkis Gamboa

someone get this jealous man some HATERADE!!!! please... he is in denial

 

I like gamboa's speed and power over JML by a fair margin, but the lack of the usage of the jab on Gamboa's part,leaving his hands too low and getting KD'd by C level fighters has me iffy of who wins.

One clean JML shot could be it for Gamboa, but a nice combination from Gamboa could do JML in as well. I lean 55-45 for JML.

 

the guy with 13 loses that gamboa put out of service in 2 rds is the same who in many eyes beat juanma 3 months ago,
i think is juanma the one who needs to established himself at 126-and im sure he will-before going for gamboa,even Arum is building him to be the next money maker after Pacman but want to keep him away from gamboa

 

This would be a quality fight. I dont see it going the distance.

Im going to say Gamboa TKO

Gamboa has noticeably better speed and he throws accurate combinations. Both defences are leaky and a Lopez KO is also a very real possibility as he has the better power IMO.

An explosive fight with both fighters touching the canvas but Gamboa stops Lopez around the 9th/10th

 

Judging from what I saw last night Gamboa is simply too fast for Lopez. Couple that with Lopez's habit of pulling back straight up and I see TKO for Gamboa.

Gamboa is a better athlete & better fighter, and hits twice as hard !!

The only downfall for him is his chin, but i don't see him getting hit(a big punch) by Lopez, Lopez is too standard for Gamboa and will get ripped apart

 

Glassboa eh? its just some hate eating you alive...but Gamboa isnt a trash talker,he takes care of business in the ring in a very exciting fashion.
if mtwaga who isnt a power puncher put JML in trouble,what's going to happen when el ciclon starts landing with those bombs in juanma's face?

I for one can't wait, and have no idea who to put money on.

 

If that Gamboa can develop some defence "Floyd like" he's going to very very very hard to beat!

 

Speed does kill but Juan Ma just has that grit about him. Plus styles make fights. Im going to go with my gut instead of my heart and say Gamboa by SD.

 

I believe u were the one insulting people and admiting anger when the poll didnt go your way...im not upset,actually very pleased by Gamboa performance last night,and by Juanma's performance as well...hoping they will collide soon.
did u notice juanma getting tag a few times from Luevano last night? Luevano doesnt have the power,leave alone handspeed,that Gamboa has...how will juanma take those shots?I admit Juanma has heavy hands and Gamboa has been down before-but never hurt.
the fight should happen at the end of the year,after they beat John,Caballero,Juarez or somebody else..then we'll talk again
