I know you didn't read it. And yet, here you are giving an opinion on something you didn't even bother read. And why? You're a butthurt little girl who didn't like JMM's answers. Better find Isal... go cry on your boss' shoulder.

I'm a huge Marquez fan but he's way off here, or do you agree with him? Or what's your deal?

That's not true. Oscar said that Pac was the best fighter he's ever fought. Pac said the best fighter he's ever fought was a tie between Marquez, Cotto, and Margarito.

Marquez went up 2 weight classes and then was cheated on the scales by Floyd, so the fight wasn't on an even playing field to begin with. Floyd might have shut him out, but if you talk about tough fights, Marquez took no damage and wasn't taken into deep waters. As an example, the Pacquiao fights were grueling affairs and Marquez acknowledged that he could have been stopped by Pacquiao, so in that sense, Pacquiao was a much tougher fight for him than Floyd.

Here's Marquez's statement on fighting Floyd again:

“If that fight is proposed and the conditions are acceptable, then of course [I would do it]. But we all know how things are done when fighting Mayweather in Las Vegas. In that city the officials protect him, let him do everything. Fighting him there is a burden. Look, do you know how Mayweather can be beaten? Only by knockout, and how can you knock out an opponent who does not want to fight, who doesn’t throw punches, and hits you with a jab and you may have won the round but they still give it to him.”

For Oscar, Pac beat him the worst, but he was diminshed. Can't be Mayweather either because Oscar was past it and was competitive. I think Pac said Marg was one of his toughest fights, which is probably true because of the size difference. But I doubt he considers Marg one of the best he fought. He was TINY compared to him.

Obviously people remember him. He's talked about all the time and just won fighter of the decade despite not fighting for half of it:deal:

Sounds like sour grapes to me. He was outskilled by pbf and beat at his own game. He didn't give Bradley or john their due either. What's his excuse there?

It's not really sour grapes. He was outpointed by Floyd. He was taken into the depths of Hell and had to walk through fire and brimstone with Pac.

    JUAN DIAZ? (lol)

Marquez is a classic example of a guy who has a blind spot for those he couldn't beat but considers all the guys he beat 'the best.'

More than a few writers have made the mistake of trying to interview the opponents a great champion has beaten to get a better insight on what it's like to face that great fighter.

And the guys the great fighter beat invariably end up saying "he wasn't as good as so and so" ... who the opponent just so happens to have a win over.
