To me the Martinez Williams KO was more impressive by far.

No doubt it was impressive but it didn't have the significance of the Marquez ko. After being abused by the judges in the previous fights, Marquez took matters into his own hands and ended the rivalry in an emphatic manner. Shakespeare couldn't have wrote a better ending.

Storyline? Abused is up for interpretation if Marquez wanted to win the first 3 fights he should have done what Morales did and that's beat Pac.

Martinez completely destroyed a prime iron chinned elite fighter. KO of the decade. Hands down.

After Pacquiao's remarks on gays, pac****s stopped supporting him. I wonder why? Marquez didn't need peds to beat Pacquiao he smacked Manny upside his head for 36 rounds and Pacquiao needed the judges to win. Manny only waited for Marquez to get older and it only backfired on him, beat his ass like a pinata.

We all have our opinions.:good To me, Marquez putting Pac into a deep comatose state had more significance given the hype surrounding Pac at the time and Marquez being jobbed by the judges in their previous fights. Obviously you are viewing this from a different perspective than me.

When talking about past fights I use the advantage retrospect. Martinez over Williams rates as a better KO.

Okay, you are certainly entitled to your opinion and no one can dispute that Martinez putting Williams to sleep was not very impressive but given how the Marquez ko made Pac gun-shy the rest of his career, I still still feel that the Marquez ko historically had more impact. Mayweather threw a couple of right hands at Pac and Pac had flashbacks of the Marquez ko and decided to back off of Mayweather.

Pac hadn't Knocked out somebody in 4 years when he got stopped by Marquez. He hadn't pulling the trigger in a while by then.

He wasn't gun-shy at that point though. Marquez made Pac re-examine his entire fighting philosophy.
