Juan Manuel Marquez could have been 63-1 if things went his way?

I scored it 114-113 pacquiao. Very 50-50 fight but pacquiao edged it with a KD in the 3rd

59-4-1 (but with a different match for the draw - trade Chris John for Pac I) looks about right to me.

Pacquiao's style was tailor made for JMM. I won't hold the loss against Mayweather against him. He didn't belong at the weight and Mayweather is also an ATG.

But why did he have so many bad performances? Norwood, John, Barrera were all sub par performances. I think a prime Barrera beats him clean. Morales would win rather easily on the cards if he chooses to box and not become macho. So that leaves us with Hamed. I think Marquez would make Hamed look silly, but if Hamed refuses to pull the trigger and sit and wait on Marquez then you never know. Marquez was a rather one dimensional fighter. He was uncomfortable fighting counter punchers and boxers.

People often overlook this fact because all they've watched are his fights with Mayweather and Pacquiao. I think Morales gives Marquez the most trouble out of the 3 (Barrera, Pacquiao, Morales) as he can box well on the outside. Without a doubt, good outboxers and defensive counterpunchers make Marquez look rather average. Pacquiao's worst style match-up is counterpunchers and he still managed to put up decent fights against them. Him getting KO'd by Marquez was due to him being reckless rather than being outclassed. Pacquiao also beat Barrera and Bradley more dominantly than Marquez did (more than once as well).
