Juan Manuel Marquez had Jacobs winning 115-113 against Canelo

That surprised me as Sky sports kept saying he was supporting Canelo and I'm sure they quoted his own scorecard at the halfway Mark and he obviously had Canelo up.
Absolutely no way on earth you could say Jacob's won by two,well actually I guess you could if you gave Jacob's two close rounds but imo the overall feel of the fight was of Canelo doing enough.
Here's a thought though and I don't expect the Canelo posse on here to agree but just as Canelo did enough to win in a close fight and that it would be a travesty to give him a draw or worse to lose his belts?
Did Golovkin deserve his draw and a loss in two fights where nobody was 100% convinced Canelo drew and won either?I say this as someone who would be equally upset if Canelo had lost those belts against Jacobs,all we want is fairness for everyone and not a select few.

That’s a fine scorecard, Canelo landed nothing meaningful the whole fight. People were getting excited about his defence in the early rounds but he wasn’t landing anything. Then in the later rounds when they started fighting, Jacobs got the better of it.

 

Quality of shot for me cause even those rounds where Jacob's started coming on it was said by Froch at the time that he just needs to throw wether he's hitting arms,gloves whatever and that's kinda what he did really.
I watched Golovkin v Jacob's again and so much of the seemingly flashy stuff from Jacob's that judges went for was just like Saturday,hitting gloves arms ect.
I was influenced by Frochs commentary and had it a draw but you're probably right about 8-9 rounds.

 

None ducked random testing like Pacquiao.

Marquez snd his trainer cannot judge a canelo fight without bias as they hate his guts!

Canelo called out Marquez at the age of 20 and Marquez shut his mouth about his skills yet still hated on canelo!

 

No this fight wasn't a robbery but when it was close we all knew Jacobs wasn't getting the nod in this one. There's no-one in the sport right now I think who would be given a close fight against him. Just the way it is.

There are probably some reasons that JMM had some bitterness towards Canelo.

First, Canelo was the golden boy Mexican from day 1. It took Marquez years to get his shot after the disastrous and controversial Freddie Norwood loss.

Second, Canelo is paid far more than JMM was. Despite being a lower quality fighter than Marquez was and generally involved in less interesting fights.

Three, Canelo receives every damn close decision possible. Whereas Marquez lost the Norwood fight that could go either way. He was robbed in Indonesia by Chris John. And the 3 Pacquiao decisions were fights that half the people though he won and half thought he lost. And he didnt receive any of them. The GGG and Mayweather cards are just flat out corruption. As in the judges are actually corrupted.

Four, Canelo and DLH are just generally unlikable people.
