i just hope he dosent bulk up too much. The primary difference between Pac now a and Pac of the Diaz fight (body wise), is he just dosent drain weight anymore. Ya hes put on a little muscle but really when you compare fight night weights from then to now, not much has changed.

Instead of Marquez trying to add on extra muscle, why not just NOT boil down as much. Hit the scales at 139/140 then hydrate to back up to 146/47? His body will be virtually the same as it was against Katsidis which would help him to maintain his speed and allow him to still train in the same manner that has brought him all his success in the past

i agree with the majority. why come in heavier when he can come light just like his fights at 135. he would be rehydrating back to 145 come fight night. with pac as his opponent, he would not worry about an opponent who would be outweighing him by much come fight night. remember that pac weighed 144 for the margarito fight and was 148 on fight night.

jmm won't need to add unnecessary weight like in the floyd fight where he feeld he needs to just to match his opponents size. what he needs is to maintain his speed just like the first two fights against pac.

His not gonna try and 10+ just a little more then usual like 146-148 but of muscle not just rehydrating weight... actual physical weight that would help him absorb the Hard PACQUIAO shots... JMM was not really that slow against mayweather it was mayweather skills and defensive style that made JMM look slow... and like he said he added weight in a bad manner which is why he is hiring someone to help him add weight correctly like PACQUIAO.

JMM is training for the hardest and most important fight of his life, his moment to shine, he has been waiting his whole career for this, it's not about money for him... it's about something he has been dying to do, confidence and motivation that has been boiling inside you is very good advantage for JMM... the avoided one's only chance, last chance to bad it came at the end of his career but he takes what is given and he will take full advantage... :bbb:bbb

Marquez will weigh the limit come the official weighin, I'm pretty confident of that.

I think he will weigh the limit, and then gain as much as 4 or 5 lbs overnight.

Pacquiao I believe will be 150-152 lbs the night of the fight, and I believe Marquez needs to be no farther than 5 lbs of Pacquiao when he steps in the ring.

There are two reasons why Marquez needs the added bulk.

    1. To withstand a Pacquiao onslaught if he should get caught with a big shot.......

    and

    2. To seek the KO if the opportunity presents itself to Marquez.

Marquez pretty much knows he has little chance to bank rounds without totally dominating the rounds.

I expect Marquez to seek to fight the same gameplan he did the first two fights, but to gear up every now and then and try to walk Pacquiao into a shot thats huge.

Laugh now, but grasp reality later.....a knockout victory by JMM will not suprise me in the least.:bbb

Thats old news.......that video that is.....

.....I'll note however how the *******s cry and point to Marquez being disrespectful of Pacquiao because he claims to have beaten him twice and went to the Phillipines to call him out......

You want to talk about disrespect, that video is Manny Pacquiao being disrespectful of his Daddy!:deal

when has pac weighed more above 150 on fight night? pac was only 148 against margarito, what makes you think pac would be bigger?

weight difference would be around 3-5lbs... Agreed, he shouldn't try to bulk up cause hes not fighting a big welter.

This is the same fighters, just different weight division. JMM likes to engage unlike Pac's last opponent. He's gonna get KO'd this time.

How long have you been a boxing fan, because you know nothing about style issues.

Mass and strenghth would have not helped Pacquiao vs Margarito. Pacquiao needed to be fast as possible to beat Margarito.

Pacquiao already knows that his speed is'nt enough to beat Marquez. Pacquiao had him hurt in both fights and was'nt able to finish him.
......what Pacquiao needs vs Marquez is a little more strenghth and punching power so that his bull rushes feel to heavy for Marquez.
Pacquiao needs to steamroll through Marquez as Pacquiao knows he cant outbox him.

........and the catch and reason for Pacquiao to come in heavy vs Marquez is that even if Pacquiao suffers just a tad speed wise, he'll still be faster than Marquez.

Strenghth and Power is more important to have vs Marquez, because Pacquiao already knows Marquez can cope with his speed.

Margarito did'nt know where to begin to deal with speed at Pacquiao's level, which was the reason to be fast vs him......
Speed Pac knows Marquez can handle, and will likely attempt to be stronger and hit harder.

i know about the styles thing but why would pac bulk-up against jmm when he feels not right doing so? and pac has already filled-up at welter weighing 148-149. giving additional muscle would just **** him and his body. pac chose to come in light against margo against ariza's advice. pac doesn't feel well weighing-in heavier as he said.

he would still be around 148 against jmm and it would be the best for him. coming in heavier would make him more vulnerable to being hit.

Pac already knows he's going to get hit vs Marquez regardless.
Marquez was repeatedly hitting a fast Pacquiao square.

Pac needs for Marquez to feel even his shots that dont land square......which is why I feel he'll be a few pounds heavier than he's ever been.

The thing is, we might never know what the fightnight weights are for fight 3 if Showtime televises the PPV.

We never go the fightnight weights of Pacquiao and Mosley because it was Showtime that provided the PPV.
