    Marquez is a very smart fighter as well. Did you see him plant that right leg of his at an angle for base just prior to the KO? MMMaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad skills.

    Though I did say marquez by UD...WOW!...i didn't think it was going to be by KO honestly. That was one hell of a war.

    Yeah, I think most expected it to go the distance. But man, Marquez was landing some heavy blows throughout the fight that were seemingly going unnoticed, or at least by the HBO crew (Max Kellerman aside) Those blows took a lot out of Diaz, and once Marquez had Diaz seriously hurt, it was a wrap, because Marquez is one of the best finishers in the sport. Dude has an almost perfect sense of spacing and placement to avoid clinches and smothering his own punches. He also throws a variety of shots to the body and head to create openings and confuse his opponent. That was a beautiful series of punches he ended the fight with tonight.
