If you really believe this Addie, then clearly your opinion of Pacquiao is that he's far more advanced now in his skills than at anytime in his career at 130 lbs and below. ......What do you think this current Pacquiao would do to the same MAB that fought Pacquiao the first time? I'm talking in a P4P sense of course.....if that past Pacquiao at 126 lbs had the skillset he does currently. .......based on this here post of yours, you must believe Pacquiao would obliterate MAB in the early rounds???? You know where I'm getting at Addie? If the more raw Pacquiao from 126 lbs was able to smash MAB and make him look less than an average fighter, my God what would this current skillset fighter you rate so highly do to any version really (prime) of a MAB?????? Wow Addie.......from what you're posting here of Pacquiao you'd be of the belief that the three amigos are not in Pacquiao's class........I'm far from being in aggreeance with you. I think maybe you've exaggerated your statement in your post, care to retract???
Isnt that the exact same thing they said right before the 2nd fight Divac?? He is so much better now. He will KTFO of JMM.
Pacquiao had just gotten through twice destroying Morales, and Pacquiao boxistically and at range boxed the pants off of MAB........ .....the consensus from alot of the boxing media was that Marquez would not see the mid rounds and be obliterated by Pacquiao the same way that Morales could trounced...... ......we all know what followed!yep Here is what Roach had to say on the matter.... The more important thing is Pac couldn't finish Marquez when he had him down 4 times. Taking away JMM's merit is like criticizing someone for surviving cancer multiple times. As for crediting fighters who have won, I've never heard Pac speaking highly of Torrecampo or Singsurat. When Morales beat Pac, all I heard was basically excuses (ie. weakened by blood test, cut over eye, wearing "wrong" gloves, etc.). It was only when Pac KO'd Morales that he started praising him. My money says had Morales owned him in their trilogy they wouldn't have done beer commercials together.
He is everything that's "right" about boxing, and it's ****ing pathetic that you would take a shot at the man. I'm not Mexican, I have no reason to like JMM, I do because he's a fighters fighter. He is tough, he respects the sport and his opponents, he does it the right way, he shys away from no one, and he hasn't made his name on the strength of a multi million dollar "hype machine", he made his name in the ring. He's not the biggest, strongest, fastest, but the man has ****ing heart and is a tough son of a *****. I honest to God don't understand what would possess you to try and even make this case.
It's a matter of taste, perhaps you drive a Honda Civic that's lowered and has the fast and furious bull**** on it, and you feel as though it's sweet. Perhaps you even have some friends and **** who tell you the car is the **** and you feel good about it, there's nothing wrong with that. That being said it's not a Cadillac, and to compare a Civic to a Cadillac is not even a debate. You may say, tell me whats wrong with my Civic, I would say it looks like a ****** drives it, and there's no room, it's geared to be fast, but the speed limit is like 70 so that doesn't do you much good, it rides like ****, and overall just isn't comfortable. Your retort is I dont' care about any of that, I want it to look like one of the Oriental guys ride and be semi fast. It's the same deal here, you dismiss any of the literally thousands of women who are far more attractive than Ryder, and say I like class, or I don't like titties and ass, or she looks trashy or whatever. You like Olive Oil looking girls, with no real body, who don't spend a lot of time in the sun, and have no real "sex appeal"...basically a young librarian. Nothing wrong with that, just like nothing wrong with driving a "tricked out" Civic...but some people prefer Cadillacs. Count me in the Cadillac crew, and Ms. Ryder while accomplished, successful, and probably a peach to be around, is no Cadillac.
It's threads like this that give the general a bad reputation. JMM is not overrated, simple as that. ****ing idiot.
Marquez like all of Nacho's fighters is fundamentally sound, he is still in the game at this age because of that but he is def a great fighter and a mexican great no smoke and mirrors
