JMM is overrated. Why? Because many think he beat Pac and didn't get the win, so they feel bad for him and overrate him. 2. The Mexicans overrate the hell out of him for the Pac fights. 3. Floyd fans overrated him because they feel guilty about the disgraceful fight that took place, and because he's a win in Floyd's resume and they usually dislike Pac so they immediately have to like JMM. Comes with the territory.
You did it again Same bracket those two atsch Pac is not greater than JMM was even a couple years ago, but because of JMM's age only now he is ahead as he is still prime.
i think this is it though. styles make fights. people assume jmm could have taken on the same path pac did just because they had 2 close fights.
F-Me.. Is the President of the 'shoplifting actresses fan club' still flogging this horrible thread. So I see... you're a Barrera fan with a grudge.
Not all shoplifting actresses...just Noni. Not at all, people just don't understand the clarity of my vision on this issue.
Can I add to your vision. Say in two years if JMM retires... possibly after winning a 140 title. Then 5 years after that he's sitting in the crowd amongst other famous boxers, promoters, journalist and celebrities... While they are all watching a short clip on a large screen above the stage following a lengthy praised filled speech by the host of the event. The movie clip finishes... Everyone rises to their feet.. The rapturous applause rings through the building.. And the wonderful Juan Manuel Marquez gets up and walks to the stage to accept his inductee into the International Boxing Hall of Fame as one of the great Mexican fighters who ever stepped into a ring. Do you understand the clarity of my vision ?
...He's a first ballot HOFer. No disputing that. If JMM wins a title at 140lbs, he would have then surpassed the other two Mexicans in my opinion, and I would be forced to retract most of what I've said about him on this thread...if that did happen.
