No Pacquiao fan should remain bitter at JMM for quite possibly juicing when any and all of the top operators were/are quite possibly juicing. Juicing is just another component of strategy now, I'm inclined to believe. They should be glad that Pac had such a rival to share historic moments with. KO6 hasn't removed Pac from the greatness discussion or even really smirched him at all. It's churlish to retain bitterness over it.

JMM, aside from being possessed of some of the finest fighting character you'll ever see, is the greatest trade counterpuncher of his generation. And I don't want to hear about Floyd in that distinction. Floyd is a great all 'round athletic technician who certainly counterpunched well and is greater than JMM in the wider sense, but Floyd had physical gifts Juan hadn't the luxury of – Juan's whole game was his reading comprehension and his timing, i.e. the fundaments of counterpunching, and he practiced his trade to the most utterly refined level.

Pac didn't want the third fourth or fith

 

I suppose that's a better pill to swallow then to face the notion that JMM had Pac's number and was simply the better fighter head to head.

 

Marquez stood his ground and planted his feet it was the only way he had a chance for a win let's be honest after the 3 previous fights , marquez always looked bad above lightweight.. He was older and slower.. Noticeably... His balance didn't look quite as good either . I think his counter punching and timing were the only things that had him hanging with the elites at welter.

 

Those videos were almost as satisfying the actual KTFO6.
