    It's on, the fight was officially announced today, so 3 months after Pacman fights for the paper WBC title vs. Diaz, Juan Manuel Marquez will step in vs. The Ring champ Joel Casamayor.

    It's a really tough call... Casamayor just did great vs. Katsidis and looked very comfortable at LW while JMM is a featherweight fighter and 135 could turn out to be too much for him. So maybe Joel is not the same fighter once was, but it's definitely close to be a 50-50 fight.

    So it's time for your picks for the September 13 HBO PPV show!

    Right now I'd say Juan Manuel Marquez on points.
    But this will be one of them 50/50
    Cause who know's how JMM will react to the bigger punch.

    Now this is a fight. I'm rooting for JMM but I'm pickin Casa. JMM is too small, dont have enough power.

    if this goes 12 i think jmm wins
    against the highest class of competition, casamayor has tended to lose close decisions (jlc, corrales II, freitas), a lot of it his fault for some of his "questionable" tactics

    i am a big casamayor fan but i can't see him winning a decision

    Katsidis is takin on Juan Diaz. It is on 6th September. One week later we got Casa vs JMM and Guzman vs Campbell. One week later Calslappy vs Jones Jr. Pretty nice September :D

    Cant see how Casa can win this. Katsidis gave Casa hell, JMM was in a very close fight with the p4p #1, a much faster, powerful, better skilled fighter than Katsidis.

    ...and you know what doesn't make sense... The two fights that look to be more entertaining (Diaz vs. Katsidis, & Campbell vs. Guzman) are on HBO & Showtime while Calzaghe vs. RJJ and JMM vs. Casa are on PPV.:lol:

    I'm taking JMM by decision.
