    Donaire shouldn't win.if you look at the majority of posts on here leading up to that fight most everyone had donaire by ko.It was expected.Marquez koing pacquiao wasn't expected.

    Agreed....He had a stellar year..He's a legend and I'm happy for Juan. But I think Nonito deserves fighter of the year based on his opponents and domination.

    Exactly.

    Donaire pretty much did what he was favored to do, and he still managed to look not so great in 2 of those fights.

    yeah, you may be right on this. i also think he's the oldest fighter to win the award as well.

    I wonder why most of the haters here rate a win over Pacquiao so highly. Most of them used to be making troll of hates quite before this fight happened.

    But when this happened they celebrate like an alien invader has been defeated. :nut

    I have no problem with anyone having Donaire as their fighter of the year if Marquez simply just outboxed Pacquiao and schooled him like he did in fight 3. Something like that was to be expected.

    What makes Marquez feat great is that he beat Pacquiao at his own game, the power game!
    That ******* is a feat worthy of fighter of the year honors! :deal:deal:deal:deal
