It's not that people are lying, I think it just wasn't that obvious that Cortez restarted the fight. The fact the people have had to resort to watching replays to be sure that the fight was restarted by Cortez just shows that Cortez didn't fully take control of the fight in that situation. If he had been clear about it, I'm pretty sure people wouldn't still be claiming that the fight wasn't restarted.

Cortez did his job, but he didn't do it well. And because of that, seeds of doubt about the outcome were planted. Had he done his job well, I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be this amount of people claiming that the fight wasn't restarted.

To be honest, I'd accept Pacquiao maybe complaining on the subject.

But when Marquez has been in the ring with the guy, and fought like a puppy himself, he can really have no complaints.

Floyd owns Marquez. Everyone already knows it.

    What's the saying

I wish you guys would read a bit more, before getting so upset.

Marquez and Mayweather changed their catch weight 4-5 weeks before they weighed in.

Mayweather agreed to pay Marquez $1 million more, to move the weight up 2 pounds, as he wasn't happy with how his camp was going.

You know, Floyd is going to box at 150, no matter what he weighs in at. It's not like the guy goes into the ring 15 pounds heavier than Marquez, like Pacquiao used to to at Super Featherweight

Seriously, I think fans need to get a grip on this.

Every time Floyd fights, and wins easily, rival fans come up with some conspiracy.

    Hatton - Cortez was biased

Marquez - Floyd went in 2 pounds overweight

Mosely - Shane "threw" the fight

    Ortiz - Cortez was biased.

You know, there comes a point where it becomes self defeating, and makes it hard to take these people's opinions seriously.

Both Cortez and Mayweather played it EXACTLY by the book. The only guy at fault was Ortiz, for being plain naieve, and thinking he was playing a game of Tennis...............

Floyd camp approach JMM and offered him money for the 2 pounds over the agreed limit because Floyd couldn't make weight.

He made JMM climbed 2 weight division, but won't honor the catch-weight.

    ****ing excuse you got kid.

Quit making excuses over weight. Manny beat the dust off Margarito when Margarito outweighed him by 20 lbs. Mayweather was not having trouble and Ortiz outweighed him by 14 lbs. And if you were having a fight in the street, I seriously doubt if your opponent outweighed you by 4 lbs that you would say it was unfair due to the 4 lbs difference.

That you have to watch replays to clearly hear Cortez deduct a point and admonish Victor then say lets go, bring them to the center of the ring and step back, means you don't pay attention to fights or you have bad speakers.

It was clear to everyone I watched it with that the fight was back on.
