we've seen what jmm done with brawlers such as Diaz and katidas, good wins but they were damaged goods. rios is a better version of them both right now than when jmm fought them. if jmm and rios fought, it would be a fight we see jmm going old over night. 10 rd tko

 

Imagine Rios vs Marquez being 5 times better than Salido vs Lopez, is it even possible, kind of hard with that 9th round in the Lopez vs Salido fight.

 

By the way, is there a source for this? As of now, it seems like Rios is going to fight Abril?

 

Marquez also faced one of the best Offensive Brawlers of all time, and that is PAcquiao x3...

Pac is a better version of anyone you just mentioned...

JMM ain't getting old over night nothing, he is a proffesional and takes care of his body 120% and now even has a condition coach, he is not the morales or hatton type that baloons up and Party.. marquez is all business if you think someone is getting old overnight it ain't marquez..

The fireworks will come early... but as the fight progresses and the Body work has taken its toll, the counters are to stinging, Rios will be going down late in the fight with Marquez doing a number on him... Rios best bet is to rush Marquez early and hope he stays down because if he gets up, and it goes into the later rounds oh OH! Marquez by TKO!

If he was willing to face Mayweather (something your hero still hasn't done), with every single disadvantage possible, there is no reason why he wouldn't take on someone like Rios. :deal

 

Rios is a hard fight for Marquez at this point.

A very hard fight indeed...But Marquez does have the tools to come out victorious...However, what i do fear is how Marquez will be after the fight...This fight has the potential to take away alot out of him.

 

Definitely has the tools to beat Rios. I just worry about his hunger and motivation. He stated that it was Pacquiao or retirement...and the Pacquiao bout hasn't materialised. At this stage, Rios is probably as good as he is ever going to get, hungry, not weight drained at 140lbs, relentless pressure...could catch Marquez at the perfect time.

Gesta has the ability to outfinesse JMM especially if he's lost a bot of edge due to age.
