The triple left hook (2:01) from that video I just posted - every shot pin point accurate with power, is just ridiculous. This guy really captured some excellent moments in Juan Manuel's career. Marquez has incredible ability + he's a pure gladiator. Outrageous talent, agreed.

Anyway, JMM throws some of the most crisp combinations you'll ever see. Always a pleasure to watch the master at work.

 

So why sign the cotract for the fight? this is a form of early excuses.

 

Marquez is such a stunning counter puncher/combination puncher.

He has carried good power through the weight because of his excelelnt technique.

His best wins are Casamayor, Barrera, Diaz and exelelmt draw vs Pacman.


I think he would have beaten Morales. Hamed would have been 50/50 (I go by that because Freddy Norwood managed to beat Marquez 5"3 Southpaw like Naz).

great fighter. to bad his character and his teams management skills are not as good as his skill level in the ring. he is a poor sportsman, and his team are partly the reason he has taken so long to get the recognition he deserves.
