Yeah, Marquez has some great potential fights at LW. Although I'd still like to see if he can pick up a belt at 140 before he retires. But he'll have his work cut out for him to do that. And I may be in the minority, but I could see JMM giving Khan all kinds of problems in a fight.

Well, its 2 guys coming off big wins in their last fights against tough opposition, showing some vulnerability along the way. Of course this is a top fight. However, the only problem I have with it is that one guy has big size advantage over the other, and that same fighter also has a large age advantage. That may be too much for JMM to overcome.

its a great fight. Not sure if either wants it right now though. Khan has a defence then a potential unification for the undisputed title next year. I think it will happen in 2012 if JMM is still around.

JMM wants none of it. He doesn't do well at 140+ and a fight with Khan will prove that.

There was an article. Berestain rejected it. He does not want Marquez to be a stepping stone by Khan.

if he really wants the pac fight at 140 or 147, then he should take this fight and beat khan to prove himself that he is a force above 135.

None of it? Who the **** are you to say that..... No one looks good against Mayweather which was his only move to 147... 140 is very different/

JMM has been quoted saying he wants to move up to 140 to fight the young Lions.... and be the first Mexican to win 4 titles.

So IMO a fight with Ortiz, Khan, Maidana, Bradley-Alexander loser, are all top notch fights...

Khan I doubt because GBP wants to put him in with Peterson then Bradley alexander winner but its not engraved in stone so a JMM match can still be possible.. Nacho didn't want JMM to be a stepping stone and Khan is not transitioned into USA so it will not be a stepping stone, just a competitive fight.. but I doubt this fight the most.

Ortiz, GBP would have to realise that he will not be the next Golden boy and leave that for Khan and Canelo before they consider this... I mean getting a draw with peterson and Ortiz not having a great following they might just see Canelo and Khan are the better Golden Boy.

So IMO Maidana is the most doable, then bradley alexander loser, then Ortiz, then Khan.....

Also Morales could happen at 140 for $$$$ although Morales was quoted saying he is not ready for Marquez but money might remove that thought.

I think people are selling Marquez short here, IMO this would be a bad match up for Amir with all the mistakes he makes. I think Juan Manuel would stop him and i would bet on it.

Anyway, can't expect this to happen next as Khan is after a easier outing after Maidana and rightly so. This could happen if they can't get the Bradley/Alexander winner made.

Marquez ran back to lightweight with his tail between his legs after Mayweather. I don't expect him to ever go up to fight the best at 140-147. I also question whether he really wanted the third Pac fight. He would've had GBP butt out of negotiation and accepted whatever Top Rank offered him if that was the case. The guy has been all talk lately when it comes to fighting bigger guys. I expect a shot Morales is the only guy he will look to fight above 135.

When JMM fights a young lion at 140, you'll eat your words.

Plus Mayweather ain't just a regular fighter at 140-147 dude is the best fighter in the world.... no one beats him. It was all a $$$ fight.

140 Is next for JMM not a double division jump, just the next one up.
