Don't know if this has been posted yet.. but who do you see winning this bout and why? Would you anticipate this fight taking a similar tone as the JMM vs Pacquiao fight, with Valero taking the same "aggressor" role that Pac played? Do you think Valero's style would be "easier" to read for JMM than Pacquiao's, or would Valero's style fare better for him than Pacquiao did considering the universal "styles make fights" theme?
Suck's we don't get to watch more Valero... based on that alone, I'd take JMM. (Even the 35+ yr old version)
valero has power no doubt, but Jmm has skills that gave PAC trouble and will put Valero in much bigger trouble.
Jmm definetly has the skills to frustrate Valero, but it's pretty much a given Jmm is gonna get knocked down at least once lol
JMM would get knocked down and out in the early rounds. JMM just doesn't have the power nor speed at 135 and above to bother Valero much.
Marquez is a counter-puncher who starts slowly in fights as he adjusts to his opponent. Valero could possibly rush him and knock him out. If Marquez weathered the initial storm, he would then control and win the fight comfortably through his superior boxing skills, but Valero would have a great chance of stopping him early I reckon.
