How well does Dinamita do against a strong WW with a hard jab like Bazooka? Does JMM do well enough to counter and hurt Quartey or does Quartey overwhelm JMM? JMM is a more diverse fighter while Quartey was a bit more one-note but I think his jab might actually give JMM a lot of problems. I’m wondering how the JMM that iced Pac handles the Quartey that beat up Vince Phillips.
JMM is without question the greater fighter pound for pound but Ike is something that he never faced before and that is a WW that was as strong as a Middleweight. I believe JIM'S tremendous skill and toughness keeps him on his feet but he takes a beating from the very strong/physical Quartey who with that piston jab would be walking him down all night.
One very interesting fact about Quartey that was pointed out me by an old fighter from my gym was that no one ever fought him twice. You never heard Oscar, Vargas, Forrest or anyone ever clamoring to fight him again. He was a guy that really damaged opponents physically. No one ever had an easy time with. Even when he was pushing 40 and fighting two weigh classes above his natural weight, he gave Winky some uncomfortable moments.
