Counter puncher vs speedy boxer. Does JMM find a way to adjust to Laguna's speed and counter his way to a victory or does Laguna's movement give JMM a lot of trouble?
I think Laguna has a chance with his speed and this not being Juans best weight class. I would probably pick Laguna.
I'd take Laguna by a decent margin. Marquez was obviously great but Laguna wouldn't give him the opportunities he wants, and even if he did, Laguna was fast enough to get away.
Laguna can also infight like how it was showcased vs Buchanan,he won't let Marquez get enough space to land counters and disappears before he's able to do so.
I don’t like this match stylistically for Marquez. I think he’d have his moments but would lose a narrow but fair decision.
