Love JMM but he's old and undersized
Horns mauling ugly ruff style and size would probably see him win close especially if he hand hometown advantage

Marquez, Spence, then Mayweather. Then stop boxing and return as the Principal of a Sunshine Coast primary school.

He was robbed against Norwood (which is irrelevant here because we're talking about ducking), and they avoided him because he wasn't marketable. Marquez refused to fight Morales at welterweight when he was old precisely because Morales refused to fight him in his prime. Here's some context from the time since y'all musta forgot:

At superfeatherweight, lightweight, and welterweight, he fought the best guys. Casamayor and Diaz were two of the best Lightweight champions, and I mentioned Katsidis because he's superior to David Diaz. Giving Manny credit fir "fighting them all" is funny when Marquez fought much better lightweights than he did. At the lower weights Marquez also beat Agapito Sanchez (remember him?), a prime Orlando Salido, and was robbed against Chris John.

Losing to Floyd doesn't mean he didn't take the risk to fight him. Did you forget that he beat Barrera, another ATG? Saying that he was only "comfortable" fighting Manny is dumb when Manny is an ATG. He also fought Bradley, another top welterweight, and at least arguably beat him despite being way past his prime. Marquez has fought the best, he's only looking at one goodbye fight now, to accuse him of ducking people when he's been inactive, injured, and so old is stupid, after a career of fighting the best. Marquez doesn't duck people period.

I just told you exactly how he hasn't and laid out the elite fighters he fought in every weight class he operated in. "Yeah he has" is not an argument.

You didn't come up with any proof. He has avoided tough fighters and Manny fought them all. Compare the guys Manny fought with the guys JMM fought.. I cannot spell it all out. You know what I mean. Put their resumes side by side. What do you see?

The proof is the list of names I provided at each weight class. Manny did not "fight them all" because he skipped the best fighters at lightweight. Marquez didn't.

Why are you making this about Pac? Who said Marquez's resume was better? You're claiming Marquez ducked people, I proved with the best names at each weight class that he didn't. Make an argument or be quiet. If you can't spell it out then the argument is just in your mind.

Um, do you really think that Katsidis and Diaz wouldn't have gotten blown the **** out by Pac? I'm talking about complete annihilation.

And do you really think that Cotto/Margarito/Clottey/Bradley were easier fights than Katsidis and Diaz?

Because one is an all time great. And one lacks.. Compare the resumes side by side. The difference is amazing.

What the **** does Pacquiao have to do with the fact JMM didn't duck anyone? What does Pacquiao beating Diaz and Katsidis in fantasy match-ups have to do with whether JMM ducked anyone?

You have no argument. Just be quiet.

Marquez is indisputably an ATG. Beating two ATG's in Pacquiao and Barrera cemented that, along with beating HOF fighter Joel Casamayor and a slew of world champions.

Thank you for once again not providing any evidence that Marquez ever ducked anyone.

You keep mentioning that JMM fought better lightweights than Pac did, so I'm curious to see if you're trying to say Katsidis and Diaz were some kind of monsters that Pac swerved.

you know enough about boxing where I don't have to give evidence. You and I know his resume lacks some big names on it. He fought good guys at 130. a little later, and then sort of handpicked some softies at 135 and 140. Lost to top guys and had a lucky punch and good style for Manny. Lost to Bradley. Speed is his Achilles.
