I know I just made a Napoles related thread not too long ago but I really think this match up is intriguing

@ LW or WW. 2 fine boxer/punchers with an aggressive counter punching style who also threw some of the best combinations punches. How do you see this match up going?
Could be a much closer, more competitive fight than people might think.

Napoles UD. I think Napoles would beat him just a widely as Floyd did. And, would inflict a great deal more damage than Floyd did while doing so.

Napoles stops Marquez at WW. Hurts him badly.

LW, I would still pick Napoles, maybe by decision.

I'd have to pick Napoles on points here, Marquez had a pretty good chin. And enough pop to keep him honest, was a good counter puncher, whilst Napoles was a ATG counter puncher. I'd pick Napoles to win all the trades but not to trade to much and out box Marquez over 12 and definitely over 15

Napoles decision, but in a very competitive and possibly close fight. Marquez maybe doesn't quite have the legs to pull this one off, especially at 147. But he'd be more comfortable in that kind of mid-range aggressive countering contest which Napoles loved. One thing's for sure - there'd be some exhilarating flurries thrown! Two of the smoothest, most accurate combination punchers of their eras once they'd got warmed up.

Napoles by stoppage. I don’t think Napoles would school and dominate Marquez as decisively as Mayweather did, but he’d inflict more damage and eventually stop him.

    Jose by stoppage rather easily
