i think a KO win in such a tough fight is enough. JMM needs to fight other fighters and keep moving forward.
JMM is too old to be fighting a rematch against a fighter he beat by KO... btw, does anyone know the purse JMM got for this fight?
JMM has already stated he's moving up. He's going for the money fights and quite right too. Diaz will be back - I was very impressed with him in the way he fought, a tad inexperienced at times which is to be expected, and with the way he took the defeat.
If JMM cannot secure a fighter with either Pac or Hatton next then a Diaz rematch probably is the next biggest fight for him.
Not at this point. Marquez has unsettled business with Pacquiao and Diaz should re-establish himself, regardless of his proven ability.
Marquez does not need another war with Juan Diaz. JMM should be fighting Pac or Hatton at the end of the year. Diaz is the lightweight divisions best when JMM moves up and hopefully we will see a real #1 contender arise from the upcoming round robin.
If Diaz can bounce back and get a couple quality wins then sure why not? He was competative up until the KO. Not an immediate rematch though. There is no point and JMM wants to move to 140, grab a belt, and either fight Hatton or Pacquiao.
