Loma for me. Marquez counter punching works well against come forward slugger or workhorses, not well against awkward movers. Marquez had major trouble with Norwood and John. Loma takes a decision.
Yeah, ultimately Marquez is gonna struggle to keep up with Lomachenko's footwork and angles a little bit too much, I feel, coupled with the terrific sharpness and timing of his attacks. That said, Lomachenko is aggressive, so Marquez will get plenty of countering opportunities, and Lomachenko has never faced anyone who could punch so well with an opponent even when taking punches and counter creatively in combination. And he isn't really a slow retreat type fighter always countering in the pocket or at mid-range, so Marquez might not be made to pay consistently for missing or overreaching. Fairly close fight I'd say with Lomachenko taking it by a slightly greater margin than Pac in the first two fights. It wouldn't surprise me to see Marquez deck Lomachenko with a right or really hurt him to the body. Campbell stung him quite a few times downstairs but lacked the offensive sharpness, variety, power and willingness to let his hands go. Equally though Marquez is going to get quickly turned with Loma's trademark pivot and belted in the transition on his blindside.
