I had been wondering about why Solomon was relegated to Part I of the undercard (generally the crappy part, full of showcase mismatches) and reduced to an eight-rounder from the originally scheduled ten.

I see now the reasoning behind those moves was sound.

This guy Ovsepyan is nothing but ham-and-eggs and his style is meshing with Busy Bee's in a manner that is none too aesthetically pleasing.

Colonel Bob Sheridan has a final scorecard of 79-74 to Solomon - giving Ovsepyan a round with a share of another. Fair enough. BBBS never dominated but was clearly a class above the entire way. I don't understand why they won't step him up already. He already beat some decent opposition in D-Hop, Adjaho, Galarza, Frias, and Robinson...yet since 2011 it has been all cream puffs. :huh

 

You know when you quote something, what you say ought to have some pertinence to what you quoted, right? :yep

UD for Brad "Busy Bee" Solomon (screw his new ring name, how many guys out there use "King" already? Busy Bee is at least unique, and the King Solomon reference was never that clever to begin with, nor apt...you don't exactly want a fighter named after the laid-back compassionate philosophizing king who only ever warred reluctantly and was basically a pacifist...)
