Read the follow up posts inbred. I acknowledged I made a mistake (Something you never have the balls to do). I meant Norwood. Gainer was a terrible fight.

I think Hamed does match up better vs Morales and Pac than MAB and JMM.

But I would still favour Pac to beat him. I'm guessing you think Pac's aggression will work against him vs the counter punching Hamed and no doubt Hamed has a hell of a punchers chance if he lands on a Pac rushing in. But as Pac proved vs JMM he's not that easy to counter and the way Hamed counters by making you miss with head and upper body movement rather than using footwork it's going to cost him vs Pac's amazing ability to close the distance in a blink of an eye. Even if Hamed is able to get the counter off, Pac will probably be too close for Hamed to get full extension subduing the power of his punches. Marquez learned that very early in their first fight and had to adjust for Pac's ability to cut the distance so rapidly.

When I think how Kelley was able to give Pac so many problems dropping him a few times I can't help but think Pac even the early Pac that beat Barrera is too much for Hamed.

Morales I think is Hamed's best chance to beat one of the Fab Four. Morales penchant for giving up his height and reach and getting into wars could cost him dearly vs Hamed. I also think Hamed's unorthodox style could be problematic for Morales if he can do what Raheem did and make Morales over reach and put too much weight on his front foot and mix in enough movement between planting his feet and countering then I could see Morales struggle. But then again if Morales is smart, boxes like he did in the first Pac fight, use his jab over the low southpaw lead and land that dangerous long right hand which is so effective vs southpaws I could see Morales beating Hamed.

Lol I was wondering what fight you were watching, that makes much more sense. The Gainer performance has to go down as one of the most cowardly displays in the ring from a champion. Man that fight pisses me off even now.

Right??? The fact that Gainer performed so terribly (ensuring HBO or SHO would NOT want him) must've made me look like a crazy person saying that in the post.

I'm glad I was corrected

But don't forget, even with all the problems Kelly gave Hamed, he was still stopped within 4 rounds.

Johnson was a champ for a long time.
    Bungu as well.
Medina years latter became a champion again.
Espinosa and Molina were 2 very good fighters who were world class for years. And multi champions.
And Hamed didn't just beat those two - he stopped both.

And I'm curious as to JMMs resume at featherweight.
At featherweight who did he beat?

Dont care Johnson was champ for a long time. His resume sucks and he was 33. Medina has many losses throughout his career and was a solid champion at best. Espinoza has many losses as well, but I will give you Molina. It was, quite frankly, a decent era for featherweights at best (and I am probably being generous) as all of those guys except Molina would have been also rans had they been in the division just a few years later. The division didnt take off until the big 3 and Manny established themselves there.
