    Hamed would have so much trouble against a counter-puncher Marquez w/c was Marquez' classic blueprint @ 126.
    But Hamed would KO a 135/144 version of Marquez w/c was more aggressive in attacking.

    During that 2 year period where Hamed was ducking Marquez, Hamed was getting some bad press cliping insinuating as such.

    To try and dispell some of those clipping, with the help of HBO at the time which HBO was hyping Hamed and wanted to build his following in the US.
    Hamed along with HBO's help, contrived to offer Marquez a fight with a price and date that was designed for Marquez to reject.

    The date was to have the fight take place on a 3 week notice.:lol::lol::lol:
    For God's sake, Marquez does'nt take tuneups on 3 weeks notice, much less a fighter as dangerous as Hamed was perceived to be.:nut

    In any regards, Marquez and Nacho told Hamed and HBO to go **** themselves. After putting so much time and energy through the months to try and get that matchup made, they were quite frankly spent and tired of their shenanigans and were moving on.


    .......and to anyone that does'nt believe it was Hamed that ducked Marquez. Emmanuel Steward who was co-training Hamed through that time period, has admitted that indeed Hamed did'nt want any part of Marquez and that he himself had advised Hamed not to fight Marquez.
