Juan Manuel Marquez vs Ricky Hatton @ 140

this is a hard fight to call marquez is a counter puncher like pbf so will cause hatton problems but hatton was moving his head more against malignaggi and was picking his punches better it could be a late ko either way or a close points decision probably for hatton it would be a brilliant fight i want to see it happen

Hatton looked real good against Malignaggi, but then Marquez is a whole different level of fighter, and is a very very excellent boxer. And Hatton is the perfect kind of fighter to counter punch. But then Hatton is very strong, and he showed in his last fight he can establish a jab and had good head movement as well.

Id say its a 50/50 fight. I dont see either man getting KOed, it would be a points win. If Hatton can effectively pressure Marquez or if Marquez can make Hatton miss and pay and hurt him with well placed shots.

 

Gotta see if JMM can carry up the power. We seen what happened to Paulie
