Juan Manuel Marquez vs Ricky Hatton at 140lbs....who wins?

Maybe now.

I wouldnt be 9 times out of 10 confident of the Hatton from a couple of years ago..That version of Hatton could give Marquez just as much hell as Diaz did but he has the hugging instinct to stifle some of what Marquez gives back...He is damaged goods these days however.

 

i pick marquez by late KO.......hatton would have his moments though......if marquez uses space on hatton he should KO him.....but if hatton gets inside on a regular basis, who knows?

but i have marquez winning...at this stage.....if this was the hatton that fought floyd, hatton by KO

keep in mind juan diaz is a poor mans hatton

I'm just not sure how Marquez could cope with 140 and he did not have that much pop against Diaz. I have a feeling that Hatton can walk right through him just like what Diaz did, but I also se Marquez outboxing Hatton. This would be 50/50 for me.

hatton will outweight jmm by about 10 lbs. but i still take jmm via very wide UD or a late KO.

Definately a newbie. Are you serious? If anything JMM's power has been more impressive as he moves up.
He just Kod 2 guys who had never been KOd.
Diaz had never really even been hurt. Campbell beat him pretty bad but never had him in serious trouble.

 

Actually Contreras had him in some serious strife in their fight.

Other then that his chin is fine.

That was an impressive stoppage for Marquez.
