Just watch Marquez being pushed by huge hooks to the neutral corners and ropes by Baby Bull and coming back to demolish Diaz with precision power-counter-punching and tell me what would Hatton do any better than Baby Bull... Marquez easily.

Since when did Marquez score early KOs?

It's always easy to spot noobs after certain fights, a guy loses by KO early against a serious puncher then all noobs pick him to lose by KO against everyone. This noob right here should be used as an example.

    ----

On to point, I would pick Marquez to win this by decision in a tough close fight. Hatton's wild aggression WILL prove to be difficult for Marquez and I won't be surprised if he seriously hurts or drops Marquez. I hope it happens soon this would be a very entertaining fight based on styles, at least for me.

i would pick marquez too at this stage....but diaz is the poor man's hatton.....hatton is a much better technical pressure fighter then diaz, and has more power.....

Diaz proved against Katsidis lately and specially earlier that he's no man's poor man. Hatton would try to press and maul JMM to the ropes and maybe clinch more to get his breathing... Marquez would find his spaces, angles and range to shake Hatton like many have done lately.

true, about how marquez beats hatton....marquez uses space and probably KO's hatton late.....but keep in mind hatton also got inside on floyd, and floyd had to beat him at this own game.....can marquez be effective on the inside I dont think so? so thats hatton's only chance.....i could see marquez getting dropped and having to pick himslef up in this one, if feather-fisted diaz rocked marquez imagine what hatton could do.....plus hatton has a better jab and footwork then diaz, and is just a better boxer overall then the baby bull

Marquez can be dropped by a big Hatton left hook and that's a bigger, heavier punch than Baby Bull's but problem for Hatton is that he often gets outa position and he has to break the action to get his position again and go at it once more. The inside game you are talking about has to do with the grabbing, the pushing, the body-punching in close, that would be tiring for Marquez but I'm sure he's used to it with his experience with the likes of Juarez... Oh, and Baby Bull is not feather fisted but he's wild coming from side to side and neither r Barrera, Pacquiao and casa, Marquez can definitely take a punch and keep his cool to do his thing when they come to slow down by themselves.

At this point Marquez for sure. WAY too accurate and too good of a left hook.
