Mike can be to easily picked off. His takes waaaay too much to give some, for my liking. Entertaining stuff, though.

    1-1

    20 - 18 Herrera

Herrera won that 2nd round with superior punching on the inside. Alvarado had his punches but Herrera more than held his own and I thought he landed the cleaner blows.

I've got Alvarado TKO 8 in Rumsfields prediction league thingy. It sounds like a war early on, which is ****ing great for me.

Herrera is overmatched and doesn't have enough firepower.

:yep I just saw it. And you right. I think he's overrated in the sense that ppl thought this fight was a mismatch for Alvarado

I think he was like 1/6 at the bookies; that's a bit wide most def.

Herrera doesn't have the size, or the pop to win this type of fight. He has to BOX :patsch

    Round 3

Alvarado is plugging away with uppercuts to the rib cage and top of the trunks. Herrera tries to lean in on Alvarado and toss a dousing blanket on his power. Alvarado gets some licks in while struggling past Herrera's jab in the pocket. Herrera drifts back toward the ropes and slips side to side as Alvarado bangs away with uppercuts to the body. Nice counter hooks and rights by Herrera. Alvarado is pounding away downstairs. BIG OVERHAND RIGHT BY ALVARADO!! Herrera is bouncing off the ropes throwing his own shoveling underhand rights to the body. No clinches!! No movement, legs glued to the canvas! BANGING AWAY!!! COMBO BY HERRERA!!!! BIG ONE!!! Alvarado stands and takes it, showing his macho side.

    29-28 Alvarado
