Marquez wouldn't beat Margo. His amazing skills alone wouldn't be enough. Marquez was getting pressured by a 135 version of Margo last night before he stopped him. You really think Marquez can survive a pressure done by a 165 lb. Margarito? You need extreme speed to beat Margo, which Marquez doesn't have.

But would only be fitting IF one manages a 140lbs championship first.
Best bet would be to chase Bradley/Alexander winner.

 

stylistically khan is a bad match for marquez, marquez needs someone to bring the fight to him, khan would look to use his long jab and speed to get in and out before marquez can respond. i think golden boy will give him a fight against maidana, kotelnik or alexander who all have a style will make for a good fight with marquez, and if marquez can take the punch at the weight then he should win the fight.

 

i noticed that when he rumours of marquez vs morales came up so did the rumours alexander would have to give up his wbc strap and the wbc do love morales so maybe...

 

JMM doesn't have the style that translates as well going up in weight. This much is obvious. He probably loses to all those fighters but I'd imagine his best chances are against Bradley. After that maybe Alexander... out of those listed.

The idea of him beating Margo, Berto... nonsense. Really silly.
