How can you compare Casamayor to David Diaz?
Casamayor is a far superior fighter.
Do not expect JMM to have as easy of a time winning against Casamayor as Pac did against Diaz.

first of all, it was Oscar de la Roa who first compared the two.

secondly, though Casa has had a great career, he is very much shot, as is evidenced by his last 2 fights. People forget that he lost against Santa Cruz, a guy who was knocked out by Diaz.


I don't expect JMM to have as easy a time against Casa as Pac did against Diaz, but i wouldn't expect JMM to have as easy a time against Diaz as Pac did against Diaz either.

JMM sealed a draw with pac in their first fight WHICH I AND MANY MANY others thought JMM won.

The second fight was stolen from JMM as well and as many many see it.
It's my understanding that Pac doesn't even want to fight JMM again.
I doubt Diaz would go more than 5 rounds with JMM.

 

Styles make fights and JMM has the perfect style to defeat Pac even though he has been unable to do it in their 2 encounters. Don't underestimate what Pac did to Diaz, that was not an easy feat. If it was, then someone else would have done it a long time ago.

 

Casa is past his prime but he isnt shot if he was he wouldve never beat Katsidis. if JMM wins this would be a very good win.

JMM gets of the floor to win a by close decision.

JMM hs never been knocked out. Bold statement. Dont see it happening.

 

Marquez only fights the best and his fight with Casamayor soon is the latest proof. This won't be an easy fight no matter what anyone says or thinks.
