Pacqiauo is more of a sharper puncher than a hard hitter, most guys will comment its Pacqiauos speed more than anything. Hamed was genuinly a huge puncher, i dont see Marquez getting up.

Wayne Mcullogh had a granite chin, he fought both Hamed and Morales and neither of them, ever dropped or stopped him.

I think only a couple of guys actually went the distance with Hamed, for the Madina fight Hamed said he had the flu.

Hamed had poor balance, but great recovery skills and a very good chin.

Out of the two, Hamed would get up, Marquez would be asleep imo.

Hamed hit much harder than Pacqiauo, that might hurt some sentiments, but thats the way i see it.

Comparing Pacqiauo to Hamed in terms of punch power, is like comparing Tyson to Foreman.

Knockdowns on Hamed were definitely the balance knockdowns.

I dont remember Hamed dropping anyone who got up and lasted the distance, let alone won the fight.

A big puncher and great finisher vs a guy who gets hit and dropped alot :think

I am gonna go against the grain and pick Marquez by KTFO! Hamed has never fought counter puncher like marquez. If Barrera troubled Naz.Imagine what Marquez would do.

    Stop, stop stop

JMM avoided Hamed and it was well documented at the time. If you watched boxing back then you would know this.JMM was completely irrelevant at the time when Hamed was the lineal featherweight champion. Hamed should have held all the belts and would have had Vasquez not been stripped by the WBA prior to Hamed knocking him out.

Yes Barrera beat Hamed but based on that 1 performance doesn't mean every big name beats him. It's well documented that by the end of Hameds career he was not committed to boxing, split from his trainer, drinking etc.

JMM has been knocked down by nearly every half decent fighter he has fought. When Hamed hits him, he doesn't get up. Hamed is without doubt one of the hardest punchers in the history of the sport.

I think Morales beats him and I think PAC beats Hamed. JMM no chance.

Hamed was a bum who got exposed once he went up against the elite level. Marquez probably gets dropped but umm he will get up. Hamed is like Pacquiao apart from his massive power the dude is a bum. I can see Marquez just toying with him and dropping his ass for the count making him look silly.

OK Hamed has a punchers chance. Guess what Marquez has never come close to being stopped. Dropped.. yes, but the dude gets the **** up.

AND GUERRA he goes to WAR mode.

    That's what I mean..

    Marquez > Barrera.

And that jackass up top thinks Marquez gets KTFO. When Hamed couldn't

even handle Senior Marco Antonio Barrera.:rofl:nut

What the **** is he going to do against a battle tested ATG in Juan Manuel Marquez.

WTF are you on about? MAB was even more older when JMM fought him?

Secondly, triangle theories dont work in boxing, if i have to explain that to, it raises questions about how knowledgable you actually are.

    WTF are you on about?

Battle tested? Hamed punches harder than anyone JMM ever fought.

    as i explained earlier

a great puncher with one punch KO power and great finishing skills vs a guy who gets hit and dropped alot

Hamed has an easier time with JMM than he ever did with MAB

    do the maths

Good input. Marquez dropped by Alvarado, Katsidis. He lost to Norwood at featherweight yet you think he beats the lineal unified champion in Hamed?!!

He struggled badly with Chris John. Faced power and speed with Pacquiao and was floored 4 times in the opening round, no way does Hamed let him even get up 4 times let alone continue.
