The Roldan that faced Hearns vs the WBO champ Benn who faced Eubanks

This would be a collision in the middle of the ring..

Roldans highly efficient crouching style with smart subtle upper body movenent vs Benns early bob and weave defence...Roldans methodical chopping axe like blows vs benns fast slashing punches ?

    Who do you have?

Benn would have loved this. A wide open, swinging banger coming to the party. Nigel always won these shootouts.
    Benn in three.
Sibson v Roldan ? What a fight that could have been.

Benn knocks out Roldan in a wild one.

Sibson v Roldan is an even better match up around 1984...how do you see the outcome?

Roldan fought too much of the cream of the crop. Hagler, Hearns and Nunn. Maybe a little lower level he might have done better. He beat Kinchen up. I think Roldan vs. Barkley. Roldan vs.Dewitt..

Just have it in 1987! Benn was already phenomenal.

I pick Benn over anyone if they can't hold a punch and weigh in the day of the fight at 160lb.

Tough call that mate isn't it ? Roldan was huge for a Middleweight in those days and immensely strong. If Tony is to have a chance here he's got to be quick. In and out, no bother.
At his very best, Sibson could land and move and I think, on his best night, he could open Roldan up and counter him to bits.
If Sibbo gets stuck in the pocket, he's toast against this fella.
I take Sibson in 6 before Roldan gets his second wind and starts to roll. Shame this one never happened.
