Zapata spends the first minute straight of the 9th just shelled up on the ropes getting bombarded, throwing nothing back. Ref having a close look. Badillo just doing shoeshine drills on Zapata's face, but the Nicaraguan isn't quite fully wilting yet.

98-91 Badillo, started waving to hype up the crowd in the last couple of rounds. Stamping his feet in the middle of the ring, egging Zapata on to come and trade with him. Zapata is ready to hit the showers, and probably checked out mentally from this fight around halfway.
