Manny and PED usage. There is no question he feels it impacts his performance, giving blood as the fight approaches. That is his prerogative. He said he would be willing to give it right after the fight, though. Nothing wrong with that. I think he is clean.

    That's the problem

He won't make that much money elsewhere and his acceptance of lower pay days elsewhere makes his negotiating strategy weaker

But they is some what balanced out with KTFO6 but I think 13mil with PPV% is good and he can retire after that too, it would be a payday like 6-8 more of his Alvarado type fights

50/50 makes sense. Marquez has earned that in this matchup.

Bests Pac in 3 out of 4 fights, only gets credit for 1 win.....seems fair to say the least

Marquez needs Pacquiao more than Pacquiao needs him,,... Belt and money.. If the fight doesn't get made I'd be happy to watch them fight another opponent..... They could just move on like what Pacquiao did against Mayweather,,...move on..

If you can not separate your personal feelings towards a fighter , then you should stop watching boxing immediately .

Pac is still gonna earn that much money without jmm. Jmm however will be fighting on non ppv fights. Sorry.

that said, jmm knows he got lucky and pac will be asking for vada testing.

Only going by what Roach has commented on, he's said Cotto is a welterweight and its where he belongs. Cotto makes 154 lbs with ease, he'd maybe have to struggle a little to make 147 lbs, but the alternative in getting chopped down and pulverized by Canelo Alvarez may not be to appetizing for him.
A Marquez fight becomes a superfight for the Latino community and a fight where both can possibly make in excess of 10 million each, let Pacquiao be damned as he can hold on to his greed.

Marquez asking for 20 million very much reminds me of Felix Trinidad asking for a 50/50 split to make a DLH rematch. The fight never got made simply because of DLH's greed.
DLH needed Trinidad, not the other way around, and I'm certain that Trinidad lives comfortably with his decision to not give in to DLH's greed and let him screw him in that manner.
Tito is a proud smiling man, DLH lives with his demons!!!!:deal

Cotto did not even want to go down to face pac, no way he will go down to face JMM. He has been @ 154 for too long. I would love it if he did but no way that is going to happen. Now cotto vs JMM @ CW of 151 would be respectable.

Marquez would be giving away nearly 10 official pounds if he fought at a catchweight. For all the fingerpointing that he's bulked up and not natural, he's officially weighing in the low 140 lbs for his welter bouts.

When Pacquiao scales at the welter limit, *******s assume its natural!

Cotto is a welterweight say's Roach!

Yes, 50/50 sounds very reasonable considering how the rivalry has gone plus the amount of damage that will be dished out. Juan wants to get paid to go to war again, with the amount of times they've beat each other money is probably the only thing left for motivation.
