Vazquez may have gotten hit more but that wasn't your initial point. You somehow think that Israel will be the more spent of the two after their wars and I just don't see how that's possible considering Marquez was clearly the worse for wear at the end of their last two fights particularly after their 2nd encounter where Rafa was fighting on shaky legs from the 3rd round on. Not only that, Marquez is also the more fragile chinned and older of the two.:deal

Another thing is I don't know how you can automatically assume that both will be completely shot after thier trilogy. All you're doing with that kind of statement is downgrading other fighters with now true evidence to satify your nuthuggetry of your dear Lopez. There are many fighters in the history of boxing who have been through just as many wars and have been able to fight very well all the way into thier 30's. Arturo Gatti is a recent example of this.

 You see some young up and comer easy dispose of an incredibly crude fighter like Ponce de Leon and you don't think that elite hard-hitting beasts like Marquez and Vazquez couldn't do the same. Alright buddy, whatever you say.

Oh I don't know what I'm talking about?! That really means a lot coming from a guy who praises a fighter as the next Messiah after only 1 big win.

Like I've already said, an aggressor like Vazquez would likely expose all the gaps in Lopez's leaky defense just the way Daniel Ponce did. I mean before he was even knocked down De Leon was landing plenty of his loaded up powershots on Juan Manuel so what do you think a more accurate and much more skilled fighter like Vazquez would do to Lopez given those same opportunities?! Izzy will bust JuanMa up that's what he'll do!

rafael marquez is a sharp accurate puncher with KO power. if vasquez could withstand those punches for three fights, then he could do the same with juanmas punches. juanma hasn't been in a fight as grueling as those experienced by rafa and izzy where they showed heart and punch resistance. i don't know how amsterdam could pick juanma over izzy. i like juanma as a future star but izzy and rafa now are going to put him in deep waters he's never been before where he'll most likely drown.
