Doesn't seem too bad. He's got a week and those 7 lbs. are probably water weight.

holy **** I completely forgot this one is coming up next week! My FAVORITE fight of 2011 hands down. This one should be a ****in' war, too.

Could be worse, not ideal but it could be worse.

If he does go up to Lightweight he's in trouble, can't see his chin holding out.

I think he'd lose to Katsidis.

he's in a much better spot than normal. 7 pounds off a week out is pretty ideal

His picture is at the "scene", doesn't look bloated.

he's fine, 5-8lbs is about right for a featherweight a week away from weigh in but that doesn't change the fact that he has no plan b when killing his opponents with workrate and power doesn't work. Salido's a tough homre, he's gonna KO Juanma again most likely although I'd prefer Juanma by KO then he can fight Gamboa wether Gamboa wins or loses to Rios.

Still love Juanma though, the guys a beast and I will never forget the night he set the all time compubox record for punches thrown and landed per round vs Penalosa.
