I never said he was scared. However, Tito wasn't a business man. He was a fighter, and took on whoever was supposed to be the baddest guy out there. If JuanMa was thinking purely like a fighter, he wouldn't be thinking about Rafa and he would be all about fighting Caballero.
celestino has been trying to get into the ring with izzy since he was his mandatory. he has clearly established himself as being more than worthy of a shot. and it is about time it happened. imo juanma has not done enough to get a shot at izzy before celestino.
I agree, which is why I'm dissapointed that he's talking about who he's not going to fight. Especially when that fighter is a unified champ and has been whoopen people's asses in that division for years.
I didnt say that he wasnt any good, i said he hasnt done ****, which is true...He is the problem with so many fighters today...Do nothing and call out guys that have as if they have to fight them because they said so...Its going on far too much...Here is Caballero who says he will fight this guy, but instead of jumping at the chance to add the WBA/IBF to his WBO and making it impossible for the money guys to avoid him, he sitting around like he is superstar with the world at his feet and everyone has to come to him...It isnt the case.
I think even a damaged Vazquez is several steps above Caballero. Juanma v. Caballero = retirement for Caballero. Didn't anyone see Ponce De Leon bouncing huge shots off his head? Juanma would decapitate him dramatically.
Well he's talking about fighting a dude whose a top 10 P4Per and holds two victories over ANOTHER top 10 P4Per (and I thought he was winning the first one before his nose exploded). I agree that hearing JuanMa and Caballero's names tied together for a fight would be great...but the way I see it, I need to see how JuanMa does against the ever beastly Izzy Vasquez before penciling him in for greatness. To me Izzy is a much greater threat.
Probably Caballero...but there's no denying that JuanMa is the better fiscal choice and sadly, that's what it comes down to nowadays in boxing.
