I think we are really going to get this fight. Supposively this monday they're both going to appear live on a radio station to talk on boxeo mundial. Are these the first steps towards a huge fight?:think
I hope my man, but I think Lopez wins. He seems to be the real deal. Plus I think those wars Vazquez been in my hurt him
I think whoever strikes first wins. Both guys are susceptable to cuts, so it's that kind of fight. I think Vasquez is more aggressive, so I'd say he'd land one of his right hands early, cut Marquez, and take a TKO later on. But Marquez is durable, and smart, so who knows. Tough call.
Why would anybody favour Juan Manuel Lopez over Israel Vasquez. We all know Lopez is a fantastic puncher, but Isreal has had 3 fights with Rafael (a big puncher himself) and only been down once. Vasquez has a fantastic chin, and a knockout punch himself. He's also the more experianced man, and on that basis alone, I'd have to favour him over JuanMa.
Oh - Juan Manuel LOPEZ!atsch I though we were talking about Marquez! Well, then it's a different story. Israel Vasquez cuts easy, and I'd say Lopez would strike him at some point early and bust him up. But Vasquez has world class endurance and toughness, I'd estimate he would punch back, and we'd see Lopez deposited on the canvas, around the tenth round. Great action fight, though - in a year or so, it could be a great fight.:bbb
I think were going to fall into a one sided fight again...Izzy is the world champ! I can speak for pretty much everyone here that weve only seen JuanMa in two fights and less than 10 rounds. This is Izzy were talking about the guy took a bunch of hits from a very strong and accurate puncher. I would like to see JuanMa one more time befor he tries Izzy.
I'm going to root for Vazquez...he's not shot or anything, i think his ring experience will be BIG factor for this match-up. Vazquez by late TKO.
Vasquez has been into too many wars and would get out worked by the younger Lopez. Vasquez has been in 3 straight wars and has been knocked out twice ...
Experience isn't going to do anything but help him survive ... the wars with Marquez, Gonzales, and Larios will catch up to him some time or another. he's very hittable and knows what it feels like to be stopped --
