Is it safe to say that he was just lucky to land first against De Leon who is also another slow plodder with a big punch?
Wee all know how this is going to end...BADLY. He was never all that talented to begin with, especially defensively. Looked awful against Mtagwa and just came off of two wars versus Salido that both had the same outcome. They are going to put him in the ring with someone with REAL SKILL AND POWER....and it's going to END BADLY!!!
I'm confused by your grammar. I don't know whether you are asking me to prove he is shot (the vid can show you that) or if you are saying he always looked slow and sloppy like he did this weekend. I don't agree with you if it's the latter. JuanMa used to have faster hands and while he still punched wide, they were crisp. Now he looks like an old vet fighting just for the payday. There is no upside for this version of JuanMa. It's time for Arum to cash him out or put him on the senior/retirement circuit.
From the looks of that, what I've been saying holds true: Orlando Cruz is not only at present more deserving of a shot against Mikey Garcia but would last a bit longer than his more famous countryman. (who is rumored to perhaps be set to cut in line ahead of the higher-ranked Cruz) Lopez is literally made to order for Garcia. Cruz would at least foil him somewhat due to speed & stylistic differences and forestall the inevitable until maybe the halfway mark...which Lopez doesn't have a prayer of reaching.
JuanMa's best days have passed him by. Doesn't train like a dedicated fighter between fights, doesn't develop his skill-set, is limited severely in the defensive and speed departments, and damage has already accumulated thanks to a number of difficult fights and beatings. He'll be out of the sport in a couple years.
I wish him the best I think though he can build up his name again and make a good money beating up on dudes locally in Puerto Rico, remain a Puerto Rican hero of the sorts maybe get an ABC Strap and remain a paper champ, Why not?? I sued to bash and hate on him as to ducking and not fighting the best, but I now know why, Arum protected him as long as he could. There mistake though was trying to calculate Salido's ability by the loss he had to Gamboa.
I was laughing at the jokes the commentators were making at Eugenio's sombrero. Dude has a big ass head. Regardless, Juanma didn't look shredded like he did for the Salido fight; he looked slow and tired. The Tecate girls looked good, though, better than the Corona girls for the Canelo fight.
