I'm british but from the moment i first saw this kid i knew he was the truth.

Height, athleticism, superb technique, bone crunching power, ring intelligence and after the Penelosa fight UNBELIEVABLE stamina.

Every major threat at super bantam, feather or super feather has a terrible style when it comes to Lopez.

Cabellero doesnt uses his height and will get countered to a brutal KO.

John has suspect stamina, a lack of snap on punches and a tendency to stay and trade too long = Brutal KO

Gamboa although a great talent has a hideous style to deal with Lopez, leaping in with your own power shots is the absolute wrong thing to do.

Already we see guys just looking to survive such as Lontchi and Medina, and if this KO streak continues you have to factor in the intimidation factor for ALL opponents.

What do you think? And who do you see being able to beat this guy? :good

He's DUCKING a skinny fella by the name of Caballero. I guess he's following "Duck Dodgers" Mayweather Jr.'s path to P4P status.

theres no way of telling. If someone told me pacquiao gona become p4p number 1 that early, I would hit them in the back of the head. JML have to beat the **** out of a world champion to qualify, not beat up cambero the milk man into retirement

I'm not sure about P4P #1, but i think he beats everybody in Junior Featherweight (122) and Featherweight (126). And he's not ducking Caballero, Bob Arum had plans for Juanma before caballero started calling him out. He'll get to Caballero in 2010, dont worry. And he's gonna Knock his ass out in round 1 for talking sh!t.

Its appears he has the tools to get to the top.I think right now he can wipe out his division, then move up and do it again.P4P #1 - in 2 or 3 years probably

him being p4p number 1 isnt just an opinion on his ability alone. you have to take into considerations hundreds of other prospects and his own potential opponents which will elevate him up the list.

I hope he becomes p4p number 1 becuz I realli like watchin this kid

I'm Boricua , and i gotta admit hes one-dimensional and highly overrated.
In other threads i said that Cotto is way far more skilled than Juanma.

I think Juanma is gonna be something special. Destined to be top 3 pound for pound, it all depends who's around during his time.

I got love for Juanma He's a special talent and i believe he will go far in the sport. He and Arum have caught a lot of flack for not wanting to fight Cab, but Cab put the pressure on and it look's like this fight will now be taking place in January of next year.
If Juanma get's past Cab he will be unified and can move up in weight right after the kid has a bright future ahead of him Hope he has continued success.
