Juanma Lopez has a higher workrate that Paul Williams!!

he is an all out action guy that goes for the KO in almost every punch. i hope every rating organization would rank him higher than caballero. He is for real and nobody beats him 130 below

add mo the fact that he would most likely fight 4x this year. That is a great mark since elite fighter fights at most thrice a year

Not surprising....he stays busier with fight schedule and is a smaller man !!!

He is making the most out of his career than Williams will for that very reason !!!!

Well see the fight first, and then go back and sys if this is a bold statement. In the Penalosa fight he break the compubox record 2 times in that fight.

He is supposed to have a higher rate than Paul Williams, he is a smaller fighter. The anomaly of Paul is that he has such a high workrate for his size/weight class.

His workrate is nowhere near as impressive as PWILL(only because of size differential)...but evrything else i agree with you on

Williams is avoided and he's had 1 less fight in nearly the same amount of time as JML. Since 2008

No he doesn't have a better workrate than Paul. Not even close.

But he does throw more meaningful punches. A lot of Paul's punches are pitty-pat. Juanma seems to throw with conviction on every punch.

Exactly Williams trow a lot of pitty pat punchs and leave himself more open for counters than Juanma, that trwos more vicius punches, but is less vulnerable for counter at least in the last few figts.

Juanma Lopez's punches are more effective.
PWill's workrate tho is very impressive, But he mixes in alot of arm punches.

Lopez has tons of power, Williams just throws lots of punches to get decision. I would rather watch Lopez any day over Williams.

Lopez set and then rebroke the Compubox record for powershots (@ 122) in the Penalosa fight if I do recall. 128 poweshots in one round. He had almost 1,100 total punches in 9 rounds. That said, I only trust Shitubox to count punches thrown, not landed. Of course.
