You hit the nail on the head, you don't have to go far to see the evidence of his skill set and patience. Take another look athe Ponce De Leon fight as a key reference. He was cunning, accurate and precise.....I think that was the begining of the end. Its going to be difficult to recapture that package, I doubt he will ever regain that ability.

 

Lopez expects his opponent to fall over after a few punches and forgets to put his hands back up. After a combo Lopez stood completely still, flat footed with his hands low and got absolutely cracked by Salido. I think he can win even with brawling and slugging as long as he respects Salido's shots and brases for them, or covers up better. Stop searching for the KO and admiring your own work, remember that the other guy will hit back, and he might win. Let's see if he learned from the first fight, and if so will it even matter?

 

JuanMa is strong but I don't enjoy his reckless style as a fan. He needs to learn how to fight properly before he can hold onto a belt for more than a year or two. Other than that...War JuanMa.
