so instead of taking on the big guys, he should stick around europe challenging euro bums (not munroe) instead of testing himself against the best in the business.

Some boxing fans are never happy, if he spent his career fighting nobodys he gets slated and then if he tries to challenge the best he gets slated. Which one is it??

It's a very fair point, is it wrong of a fighter to concentrate at a domestic, european level.
Or should they get in with the very best 'Hatton' get destroyed and then get told to retire?
I agree with you but in all honesty Lopez has the better of Dunne surely.

This isn't good for Dunne, he will get destroyed in a vicious fashion. I'll respect him immensely for taking this fight, but he doesn't need to take it in his first defense!

    To quote David Haye:

"This wouldn't be a fight, it would be a massacre."

hey I agree that Dunne gets beat by lopez, but I still am all for him stepping up and giving it a go against any of the big guys in the division. Boxing is not all about protecting your record..

yeah it was a couple of years ago that loss.. But he bounced back with 4 decent wins before the fight with cordoba.. I think the cordoba fight came about mainly due to dunne's decent ranking and the money that was offered to cordoba to fight in Dublin...

sorry i didnt see your post, rendall has decent speed, DECENT power, he can def make dunne miss because of his footwork and overall slickness, hes got a chin that can take what dunne can dish out, and he wont get bullied by dunne either. I wouldnt blame dunne for not takeing the fight
