Penalosa is too old and is on the down side of his career ... He barely beat Jhonny Gonzales if it wasn't for that straight left to the body ... he was getting beat that fight.

Lopez is too fast and too strong ... a right hook to the body - straight left to the head ends Penalosa's night.

 

Never seen Juanma rattled ... he's very calm and composed during the fight ... it would be a hard fight for Penalosa ...

thats bullcrap PDL was barely a 3/2 favorite, and that was on hindsight from what Deleon did to Bautista considering both prospects at the time had identical resumes.

Gotta love Gerry but nothing adds up for him here. He seems timeless but age gets us all. Here against a bigger, stronger, younger opponent, I think Gerry is gonna have trouble surviving.

This is the classic great, old veteran vs. young lion. Take the lion.

Think Morales/Zaragoza a decade back.

Would love to see Penalosa pull out the win, but, Lopez is just too young and too strong for Gerry.
