JuanMA Lopez vs. Yuriorkis Gamboa .. Fight of the decade... or?

Damn bro why you dont give us your bias opinon on the fight.. hahaha people want to hype up fights before they even happen.. wasnt dlh agaisnt tito suposed to be the fighte of the milennium and what happen it only made a bunch of money but it didnt live up to the hype so lets wait and see... and as of now this is a pickem fight whoever saids any differently is being bias

I favour Gamboa as well, but given that both are in Arum's camp it might mean they don't fight each other unless its a unification fight.

 

Still a pick 'em fight to me.

But I am cheering for Gamboa

 

Would be over in 6 explosive rounds either way. Athleticism and speed alone wouldn't be enough for Yuri, he still has to work on pro boxing fundamentals such as adaptation, timing and better overall defense. Gamboa is the naturally more gifted athlete but JuanMa might pull it out due to a more complete and effective style (even if he's slower and still somewhat hittable). Since there's time for Gamboa to improve and adjust to prizefighting, I wouldn't predict for the future because it's up to Yuri whether he can reach that next level, but as for today, I'd pick JuanMa by KO.

 

Am I the only Cuban here that thinks JuanMa has a chance?
