I really don't think he's p4p #1 material in the next year, let alone next two(three) fights. He needs to beat Gamboa to take that title, maybe even Chris John. There's no doubt he is a great talent, but he is not ready for that accolade just yet. I personally think he will lose to Gamboa, but if he does get through Yuri plus a couple of other fighters, he deserves to be mentionedwith , if not hold the honor.

He's in the top prospects list. I wouldn't call him p4p yet, but he has a really good chance of being there soon.

P4P lists are worthless and bias anyway.. people are starting to pay too much attention to them.. chris john is not rank in the top 20 on most lists but juan manuel marquez who he beat is in every list top ten and a lot of them top 5.. the funny thing is people believe them and pay attention to them

He has some serious work to do before I put him in the top 10.

Today? I think JuanMa still ranked below Caballero in most P4P list. Caballero is at #10 on Ring Mag P4P list. JuanMa nowhere to be found among the top 10.

Chris John is ranked in the top20 on most lists.

And he beat JMM controversially, in his own back yard, nearly 5 years ago.

A head to head result doesn't always determine who is the better fighter for all eternity.
