    As apparent by the recent photos that appeared on ***********.com, WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez gained a tremendous amount of weight since Christmas. In 2012 he will rise to 130-pounds, according to his manager Orlando Piñero.

    It'll be in 2012, making his last fight at 126 against Gamboa would bring an excellent closure to his campaign at the weight.

    yep hopefully this can happen this year. I hope he can fight gamboa and john before he moves up.

    You are totally right, if Lopez plans to do this to avoid Gamboa ( even though it's true that he has gained weight lately ), then he is going to be extremely criticized for not fighting Yuriorkis. :-(

    But Yuriorkis has also said that he is very willing and able to fight at 130lbs so maybe their battle will indeed take place but at 130lbs instead. :good

    linares,john, lopes,gamboa... 4 different styles and 4 different fighters. 126-130 is starting to look pretty interesting.

    True and there's bunch of talent @ 135 too. i'm looking forward to a lopez-linares match up.

    Juanma is getting divorced right now so it wouldnt surprise me if he losses his next fight. Same thing happened to trinidad. As soon as his marriage problems became public he lost a fight.
