Juanma Next Fight?

    I was loking at boxrec schedule and i saw Juanma and Gamboa are going to fight at Madison Square Garden on September 26 on separate bouts, but on boxrec they already have a a oponent for Juanma and is no other than Roger Mtagwa, WTF Roger is a good durable fighter and very fun to see, but dam Juanma would ko that ass early i hope this is not official and put maybe a better oponent for him. Not this durable journeyman or perenial contender at best.

    its so funny to me how juanma fans are so quick to criticize gamboa when he fights rojas estrada etc and praise how great juanma is but then when juanma does the same thing with 2 more years of experience they look the other way

    :goodAgreed. I like Juanma but people need to chillout on the hype for the time being. Let's see where he is in 10 fights time. I saw people on here the other day calling him an ATG:patsch.

    Juanma is becoming dangerously close to being a typical WBO strap holder. There's absolutely no reason why he couldn't be fighting Caballero now.

    Not impressed by this defence but pads the record out a bit more for when he eventually goes into the big fights.

    I think they need to get him in with some names that he can learn from Penalosa was good for him but maybe someone his size who will test him a bit more. I like to see him in with a counter puncher who moves. Molitor would of been a good fight for him at this stage.

    Just checked this guys record the guy lost to Billy Dib no way should this fight go ahead when this guy loses a UD to that bum.

    this a joke, I bet it is not on HBO, they would never pay for this rubbish, It will be one of arums PPV, with JCCjr fighting a bum.

    yeah i was hoping for a pay per view for them to put someone else there, and its funny how they say caballero is not good business, i think what they mean is he's not worth the risk but at least i hope they match up gamboa with mario santiago that's the only way im getting this ppv

    i thought he wouldn't fight celestino because he only wanted big money fights. i guess there must be another reason.

    JuanMa has already KTFO Ponce de Leon in 1 round. Who has Gamboa fought on that level? I'm not disrespecting Gamboa's competition but you're comparing apples and oranges. JuanMa has accomplished more than Gamboa

    This card is obviously just building up towards a juanma v gamboa fight early next year, as long as that fight comes off im not to bothered about a couple of filler bouts before hand

    what has juanma done in his illustrious career to merit all of these tune ups.
    don't get me wrong the kid appears to have the goods, but waht has he actually done besides beat pdl.
